What does a Carpet weaver do?
As a carpet weaver, you design carpets, mats, floor and wall runners. You select the appropriate material and then use a knotting needle to tie knots in the fabric and create a wide variety of structures and ornaments. You either take these from a pattern template or from your own ideas. In addition to making new carpets, carpet weavers are also responsible for carpet repairs.
