Bakers' confectionery also called flour confection, is the art of making sweet foods that feature flour as a main ingredient and are baked. Examples of baker’s confections are cakes, sweet pastries, doughnuts, scones, and cookies. Baker's confectionery excludes everyday bread and bread by-products.
